Minimum Rental Period: 7 nights Since the end of the late century, the family Boncompagni own this large and ancient farm with its production of an excellent Chianti Classico “Gallo Nero” wine and extra virgin olive oil. The villa has 4 independent entrances and private parking for each apartment. In total there are 4 apartments in the farm and one in an independent house opposite to the main building: the owners live in one apartment, and the other 4 are at the disposal of guests. The house is located in a quiet and isolated position, near the villages of Strada in Chianti and Greve in Chianti, the famous towns of the Chianti Classico area. The farm offers a wonderful view over the surrounding hills.
A 8-shaped swimming pool (max depth 1.80 m) is situated in the magnificent garden, which offers an incredible view over the valley underneath, characterised by oak woods, olive groves and the vineyards of the property. A barbecue and a gazebo are at the disposal of all guests. There is also a washing machine that can be used by all guests.
It is possible to buy the products of the farm (wine, olive oil, and grappa) on the spot. The owners of “Fattoria di Sezzate” personally take care of both the agricultural production and their guests. Mrs. Miranda with her hospitality will let you feel ë at home’ and will introduce you to the Tuscan way of life.
Strada in Chianti and San Polo in Chianti with small shops are at a distance of 6 km, Greve in Chianti with supermarket and a bank is at 9 km. Florence is 25 km, Siena in 45 km, and Pisa 90 km away. |
